I have eaten at this place multiple times on different trips. There were hits and misses. I found the quality of the dish to be very inconsistent. Some dishes are good, like the steam scallops. Some were bad,泥鯭 were bitter, some even not acceptable, like deep fried 九肚魚. It is a good experience to try once, but I would find other restaurants for better and more consistent quality food.
A solid 4 star, food is excellent, service is good and friendly! Super fast serving too! The ones we ordered all were excellent, a must try when visiting nearby. Do avoid the mantis prawn, though it’s fresh, but it was a little pricey.
Try this seafood restaurant in temple street, I see there alot of people eating , so I decided to try out. Order a fired dry beef hor fun, HK style lala and vegetable. The service is ok, the food I feel no nice. Hor fun I feel oily and beef over cook. How can a HK seafood chef can't cook a good plate hor fun, lala also ok only and the vegetable tasteless. Room for improvement.
The atmosphere of this place makes it a must try. It’s loud and energetic, enough that you can hear it from surrounding streets. The food was pretty good, the beef kway teow and scallop vegetables were the stars, while the sweet and sour pork ribs were unfortunately very soft. In the end it was a nice experience, however, we were overcharged and the guy said he was right.
A very Hong Kong-style dai pai dong (open-air food stall). The owner treated us very warmly. It was very crowded. We only waited 10 minutes for a table. Every dish was delicious. The food came out quickly. The tables were small. Our group of 12 finished 95% of the food. We loved it!
