A must-try here is their egg tarts. They are ridiculously cheap, at HK2.50 each, and are delicious. Light and crispy, the crust is actually more graham-cracker/cake like than the baklava-layered type of KFC.
This hole in the wall bakery makes their delicious breads, cakes, and other baked goods with plenty of love, and you can taste it! Perfect to try on the go as a snack!
Located in Sham Shui Po, near the MTR stop on the red line, it’s easiest to find (sadly) from McDonald’s. Just head out and turn right, then take your first left and it’s on the right.
The old lady who runs it looks like she’s between 70 and 200 years old, yet observes all that is going on around her shop. She has a few much younger employees, who help run the place.
Support local businesses, and come check it out! It’s well worth your while.
