Jack's Terrazza Ristorante
Hongkong
While not having particularly authentic Italian food, the décor and ambience are what draw people. Not only do you get free Tiramisu on your birthday, which comes decorated with your own hand-written chocolate birthday message, but they also sing to you! Service is typically attentive, while the food is average in quality, while fairly inexpensive. You get what you pay for here.
Jack’s has a variety of seating options, from the row swing seats (good for couples), bar seats, and a music stage dining area with live music. It’s worth noting that the people at Jack’s (both staff and clientele) are informal and friendly, with some customers even bringing their dogs with them to dine al fresco.
Meals begin with a complimentary breadbasket, which is served nice and hot. While the food is a bit on the bland/unimaginative side, the pizza is known for having plenty of cheese, which is typically an issue with Italian restaurants in Hong Kong. Although they have a set menu, the quality of the food is typically better on their a la carte menu.
This chain has two locations, with the main one in in SOHO East, Wan Chai, and another branch in Sai Wan Ho.
