The vibe and atmosphere was all good but the food was very very blend. Don’t come here for the food. The noodles are still hard (not fully cooked - should be tender and soft); the soup base is not the authentic noodle soup (出前一丁). The pork chop is not even fried. Any cha chan tang would be more authentic in terms of taste of the food. Hence a bit disappointed given the price, location and its outdoor. Wouldn’t visit again.

Tai pai dong style cafe stall is becoming very rare in Hong Kong nowadays. This one is a landmark of Tai Hang and a tourist attraction. Food is no frill and tasty. Be prepared to queue for seats during prime hours.

Really good breakfast spot. It’s super popular and not worth queuing for ages but if you can go midweek and grab a quick table then it’s more than worth the visit. The black pepper flavour on the pork chop is superb. The noodles are great but definitely add salted beef to whatever else you choose. The sandwich isn’t all that, just go for a plate of the pork chop instead.
