We had a wonderful evening at Te Bo in Quarry Bay. The menu was thoughtfully curated and very satisfying, while the service was attentive and efficient. We sat at the high chairs by the counter, where the chef personally presented each dish right in front of us—a highlight of the night. The ingredients were seasonal and sourced from around the world, adding freshness and variety to every course. The four-course menu includes a welcome drink (sparkling tea or wine), water, and coffee or tea, so you only need to pay the menu price plus 10%. Overall, it’s excellent value for money and highly recommended.

There are restaurants that try to be cosmopolitan, and then there’s this place, a European soul happily flirting with the flavours of pan-Asia. The Patagonian toothfish is an unmissable act. Yellow tuna tnrtelette sets a decent standard for the meal. And we both enjoy the pastry a lot. It’s all fine quality. The only imbalance might be the peas puree. It’s just a bit too greasy. Chef Sebastian is the kind of man who looks like he’d rather talk about produce ripeness than “concepts,” which is deeply reassuring. The service. Marcus, smiling yet efficient, glides through the dining room. François, ever the host, greets guests with a twinkle suggesting he’s seen it all and still finds it amusing. Chef Lyca takes care of the plating, and she wanted to share the spirit of spring with us Will definitely visit again!

Stunning Food, But Service Could Be Sharper The food here is truly exceptional and easily 5-star quality. I was blown away by several dishes. The **Japanese Chicken Liver Parfait** was a masterpiece—perfectly smooth and balanced. The **Three Yellow Chicken**, cooked two ways, was incredibly tender and flavorful. Even the bread was so good I wish they'd open a bakery! However, the experience was let down by the service, which is why I can't give a full five stars. We were on a tight schedule for a business lunch and informed the staff we needed to leave by 2 PM. We were assured this was no problem, but the service was slow from the start; it took over 15 minutes just to get our welcome bread. Unfortunately, our final course (the cheese plate) was served right at 2 PM, which made us late. Additionally, I had noted in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration, but this was overlooked. A small acknowledgment, even just a "Happy Birthday" written on the cheese plate, would have been a nice touch. I would still recommend this restaurant for the phenomenal food alone, but I'd advise diners to be cautious if they are on a tight schedule. The kitchen is clearly brilliant, and I hope the front-of-house service can rise to match it.

A belated birthday dinner at Té Bo was an absolute delight from start to finish. The restaurant's unique design creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere, made even more cool by the one-sided glass walls. The set menu is expertly crafted, featuring dishes with stunning, artistic presentations and even better tastes. The star of the evening was Sommelier Stanko. His professional and insightful wine pairing, paired with his engaging stories, elevated the meal into a truly immersive and joyful experience. For anyone seeking an authentic fine dining experience, I cannot recommend Té Bo highly enough. It’s a place that will leave you impressed and in high spirits for a long, long time. Thank you for a memorable night! Té Bo, t'es beau🫶🏻
