This smaller hotpot joint is a very reasonable All-You-Can-Eat buffet style with tons of variety, prompt service, your own personal mini hotpot, and a nice view from the booths overlooking the street below.
This is a rather unusual hotpot place, as it does not have the traditional Chinese décor and round tables, using booths and aisles instead. Highly recommended to get a booth by the window, but keep in mind they are all for 6 people. It is located on the second floor, right above The Broken Hearted Hot & Spicy Noodle, and across from California Pizza Kitchen. The lifts take forever, so try the stairs.
The main buffet offers a huge variety of hotpot items, from vegetables, to fresh seafood and other meats, all kept in coolers. Ask for assistance when getting the beef and pork, as they are displayed in a separate case. Other items, such as beef balls, noodle ties, and chicken livers, are all stored in individual portions, which are covered. The end of the buffet offers eggs and packaged noodles, as well as complimentary soft drinks.
Expect to pay HK$150 per person, or only HK$100 after 10PM. Buffet is limited to 2 hours, which is fairly standard, but they are vigilant about wasting food. If you get too much food and don’t eat it, you will be charged, to discourage waste. Therefore, we recommend making many small journeys to the buffet, rather than a few large ones, to get the right amount.
They offer several different hotpot bases, with the most popular being the Szechuan, which is authentically spicy, the Satay, and the Pork base, which is especially tasty with fresh egg mixed in.
