The noodles are slippery, spicy, and SOOO good! Definitely take advantage of the discounted drink that you can get with the meal, you’ll need it!
These noodles made me cry….with delight!
I learned a lesson today: when a nice Cantonese waitress politely suggests that you don’t order “spicy” for level of hotness of these noodles, she’s not assuming white people can’t handle spicy. She’s trying to save your mouth from literally going up in flames. DO NOT ORDER SPICY HERE! Ashamed, I actually had to order another one (mild), which was still nice and spicy, and devoured the whole thing.
Spicy Noodle Heaven
We ordered the famous noodle set with a drink and garlic sliced pork. Feeling creative, I added the pork into my noodles, which was incredible. The burning garlic combines with the spice to make a wonderful base, and the flavours don’t mix too much, so I still got both dishes coming through on my palatte. Spent 45HKD, and was stuffed. Will go back!
