The bestseller is their Congee with Fish Lips, Fish Tails, or Slices of Fish. They use Chinese Carp for the fish. Also try the Crispy Cold Fish Skin and the Fried Canton Carp Ball.
A very hidden and humble shop with great congee, Nice Congee Shop perfectly fits its name. It is located in the old side of town with a lot of old buildings. Inside you can find a simple eatery with tiled floor and walls, and the menu on the wall. The shop is neat and relatively clean. NICE (pun intended). It seats 33 people.
Nice Congee Shop, or Wo Mei in Cantonese, has an a la carte menu which features dim sum, congee, noodles (fried included), and vegetables. Prices are cheap, below HK$40 per head.
Open daily from 7:30am-3pm. Cash only payment. Visit the Jade Market afterwards for some luxurious souvenirs.
