The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, not too crowded, and feels authentic. Service is excellent, most of them are Koreans, but can communicate in English. When not too busy, they are willing to teach you some Korean too. Food is delicious. They all looked appetising, yet tastes great! Will definitely re-visit!

Min Young is a really great restaurant. The service is very thoughtful, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. They provide good atmosphere and their English and Korean are both very fluent. The food is also very fresh. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Great food, ordered medium sashimi set for 2 and I was pretty full. Amazing service, but the variety of the platter is crazy. Incredible value

Minyoung, a popular Korean seafood specialist newly opened in North Point, is already drawing crowds during its soft opening. Located at City Garden, the restaurant is part of a long-established Korean chain with over 45 branches since 1975. It focuses on live seafood flown in from Korea and prepared to order, ensuring exceptional freshness. Every table starts with complimentary refillable side dishes like tofu, pickles, and vegetables. The Set C (HK$1000) is generous for 2–3 people, featuring cheesy corn, spicy marinated raw fish, and a sashimi platter with toro, salmon, octopus, halibut, and sea bream—fresh, thick-cut, and flavourful. Highlights also include abalone, soy-marinated shrimp, and unique sea squirt. Hot dishes such as spicy fish soup, clam soup, and grilled mackerel are comforting and rich. The sake-steamed clams with pasta are also highly recommended for their sweetness and portion size.
