Indonesian Restaurant 1968
Hongkong
It’s a classic case of the curse of the Michelin. IR 1968 was recommended for 2011 and 2012, which has had a negative impact on the dining experience overall.
True to its name, “Indonesian Restaurant 1968,” was founded that year by a couple, whose sons now run the restaurant chain. The head chef has been in charge for the past 25 years, to assure that the quality remains the same. The décor creates an intimate setting, with wooden carvings and rattan chairs, complete with deep red tones. It is a very relaxing venue, but the service is notably sloppy and indifferent, with the food being overpriced and bland.
