Unkai

Hongkong

Japanese

Located in the Sheraton Hotel close to the Peninsula Hotel and the Hong Kong Space Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui, Unkai offers both private and open Teppan, where you can see the expert chefs in action. They also have a sushi and sake bar, private rooms, and the Tatami room. With dark wooden slats and black granite stones, stark geometric lines, bamboo, and a peaceful, Zen atmosphere, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy classic Osaka fare.

Favourite dishes include classics such as Sautéed Wagyu Beef with Ginger Sauce, Teppanyaki Foie Gras or Lamb Chop, and traditional dishes such as Vegetable tempura with dipping sauce, Wagyu Beef Sirloin Roll, sashimi, and (amazing!) rice.

Afterwards, you can walk to the Sogo Shopping Centre, just opposite the hotel.

Expect to pay HKD 350-500 for lunch and HKD600-1200 for dinner.

Nearest MTR station is Tsim Sha Tsui

Hours: Open daily, 12:00noon-14:30, 18:30-22:30
