A Set Night
We checked out Spaghetti House’s Summer sets the other night, and really liked it. HK$268 includes two pumpkin and shrimp soups, an ‘everything’ regular sized pizza, and penne arrabiata (although there were many other options to choose from), as well as molten chocolate cake with “black and white” chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The iced milk tea was very good, although I would avoid their coffee next time. Service was great, and I loved the nice, cushy booths.
Birthday Carbonara
It was my friend’s birthday, and she chose SH for dinner. Though not my favourite place, I was actually pretty impressed by their carbonara, which had a nice, thick cream sauce and thick bacon, cooked just right. I always add lots of parmesian cheese, which they also provide. The birthday girl had the garden salad, and was nice enough to let me steal some (and it was delicious – their Italian dressing is light and lovely!). The pizza was just OK, crust tastes like it’s instant.
