Located at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel, Shang Palace is a high class dim sum restaurant. The setting can be described as oriental elegance with red everywhere paired with yellow accents, plus just the right lighting which is not too bright. This restaurant seats about 180 people.
The menu changes every month, which always includes more than a dozen varieties. Try the Steamed Vegeratian Dumpling, Deep Fried Spring Roll, or the Baked Diced Chicken and Mushroom Bun, if available. A Suckling Pig Combination Platter is also available for starters. Expect to pay HK$250-HK$550 per head.
Open for lunch from 12noon-3pm from Monday to Saturday, and 10:30am-3pm during Sundays and holidays. Serves dinner from 6:30pm – 11pm daily. Dress code is smart casual. Visit Tapas Bar for an after meal drink located within the hotel.
