Reviews
Stunning view from 49th floor. Tried their new Hong Kong-inspired afternoon tea set. Very creative and tastes nice. A special thanks to Gavin's service in making our dining experience a more incredible one. High recommended!
Salisterra delivers a sophisticated fine-dining experience perched high above Hong Kong’s skyline. The elegant modern interior, featuring dramatic chandeliers, warm lighting, and refined furnishings, creates a luxurious yet welcoming ambiance. The highlight is undoubtedly the stunning harbor view, with panoramic windows framing the glittering cityscape and IFC Tower — perfect for special occasions. Service was impeccable throughout: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Staff handled our birthday celebration gracefully, though we were mildly disappointed that our repeated requests for a window table were not fully accommodated. The set dinner showcased beautiful, Instagram-worthy plating across every course. Standouts included the Crab Arancini with vibrant tomato sauce, the classic Beef Tartare with a perfectly runny egg yolk, well-executed steak frites, and elegant desserts like the silky chocolate creation. While the presentation was outstanding, the flavors were solid and enjoyable but fell slightly short of truly memorable or stunning. Priced at a premium (set dinner around HKD 688++), the overall experience — breathtaking views, polished service, and visual delight — makes it worthwhile for celebrations. A recommended destination for special evenings, and one we look forward to revisiting.
we came here for drinks in the evening, specially to the Green room but they told us there was no space even though there was an empty table. Instead we were seated in the main restaurant. After the rain so the harbour was a bit gloomy but still some nice views. We had a cocktail each, taste wise was great and also the presentation was strong. Waiters topped up our glass of water quite frequently. We were just disappointed about not having a table by the window even though we said we would leave before the dinner service.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, amazing views, and attentive staff. We got the weekend brunch set and all the appetizers were tasty and aesthetic. Then my main dish arrived, which was steak with eggs, and this was what really disappointed me: I ordered rare but got medium to medium well instead. Understand that it could have been the line chef who cooked this, but it also meant that the supervisor did not check the quality of the dish before presenting to guests. A poor showing from what is supposed to be a top tier restaurant in a top tier hotel in Hong Kong.
A wonderful restaurant with the chill perfect vibe and awesome food. The beef tartare was fresh, well seasoned with a perfect eggy egg yolk. One of the best so far and certainly reliable. The beef cheek was tender and very well brewed, great quality. The dessert was very rich and filling. The best thing g about this restaurant is the staff. They have been able to pull an extremely well balance between being chilled and yet helpful. Super fun to interact with them. The view was great and the best thing is it priced very reasonably priced. One place which is great for a very decent meal and some great chat
