Nice food, small portions with a bit pricy. Excellent service from Antony, thank you!! BBQ pork different from its Hong Kong restaurant as the pork type is different in UK. Very comfortable atmosphere and environment compared with its Hong Kong restaurant. Carry on the new restaurant, you should run it better and better day by day💪🏻💪🏻😊
Nice BBQ pork and not so sure if they are the best in town, but surely one of it, good service although the lemon tea/milk tea is pretty average, the BBQ pork and the chicken is really nice, and the tea set potion is generally big enough to fill us up. they have got a nice taste on TV channels and would like to come again in the near future to try out on their other recommeded foods. highly appreciate on the nice dishes !!!
I had lunch at Hoper's Base today. Ordered Pan fried pork chop with tomato sauce and rice HKD69. The pork chop and rice were hot whilst the tomato sauce was only lukewarm. It would taste much better if the sauce was hot as well. I also ordered a soy sauce chicken HKD165 and sauteed sweet and sour pork HKD188 for dinner tonight. Everything was normal and fine except the Manager was quite cranky and impolite today.
Great hidden spot away from the high street — fried beancurd was spot on: fluffy outside, soft inside, clearly well made. The fried egg with scallops was a highlight — juicy scallops and a nicely cooked egg, really tasty. Tea was smooth and paired well with the meal. Staff were friendly and helpful, made the visit easy. One small thing: the AC blows straight onto some seats — adding wind panels or redirectors would make it more comfortable. Overall highly recommend. Vegetarian dishes also available. Wish everyone peace.
Delicious restaurant tucked away in the upper streets of north point, predominantly known for their roast meats but also regular HK diner style meals. Ordered the BBQ pork (can choose lean or fatty meat) with double sunny side up eggs and rice. Came with soup, drink and a generous side of vegetables. Altogether was only $74, a massive steal in my opinion. The BBQ pork was so delicious, lean but not dry, and had charred bits which I love. Noticed the floors were a bit dirty and had a used tissue under my table that wasn’t cleaned up. Otherwise, it was a nice dining experience. Staff were nice and friendly.
