Had the Pork BBQ with Jjapaghetti combo. The staff was very helpful with the cooking process to ensure the best taste. A bit pricey but worth it.
🌟 The restaurant was completely full, yet one amazing female staff member was running around tirelessly, handling everything like a true superwoman lol 💪 I was genuinely impressed being kind to everyone in such a busy environment can’t be easy, but she never lost her smile 😊. Even when faced with rude customers, she responded with grace and positivity..!!!! the rush, she still provided excellent service to our table. Thanks to her, we had a truly pleasant experience in hk🍽️✨.
Quite disappointed with the food:( chicken soup was quite bland and the chicken didn’t taste fresh… noodles were also meh. My ox tail soup was overly salty & did not have any beef flavour, just tasted like salty msg water. The sides that came with the set were good though & the meat mandu was yummy
Came because really missed Korean tofu soup! Saw the high ratings so I was looking forward to some spicy, strong in flavor tofu soup! The restaurant has a large TV on a wall playing NCT, a Korean boy band, during your meal. The menu is a scannable QR, unfortunately my internet isn’t the best but they are able to provide you with a physical menu upon request. There were only two options: pork tofu soup or kimchi tofu soup. The tofu soup comes with rice and 3 banchans: kimchi, cucumber kimchi and bean spouts. The pork tofu soup is lackluster with 5 slices of pork (shown in the photo). The flavor profile is mildly spicy and has enough salt, but lacks the deep rich flavor of authentic Korean tofu soup. To improve the flavor of the soup, I had to put all my kimchi along with sauce. The cucumber lacked the sour tang and the bean sprout didn’t taste like much of anything… I read other reviews and it seems that others felt the authenticity of the food disappeared about 2 months ago? Perhaps the restaurant adjust their flavor profile to suit the local HK people, but if you are looking for authentic Korean tofu soup, this is not it. It is also slightly on the pricier side, almost 100HKD for one soup. TLDR; if you want authentic Korean tofu soup, skip this place. If you just need something to eat, this is fine but would suggest you go to somewhere else.
You absolutely must visit this Korean restaurant. GOZIP serves the most authentic jeyuk bokkeum in Hong Kong. The flavor is incredible, and the pork quality is exceptional. What makes it authentic isn’t about premium cuts, but the perfect balance of lean and fatty meat, paired with a masterfully crafted sauce. While I was not a fan of their soup—I found it a bit too salty—and the rice was slightly dry that day, both are easy to adjust. That said, the banchan were fantastic. Overall, it’s a must-try.
