Gaylord Indian Restaurant
Hongkong
The restaurant itself, with red-spiraled carpet, large alcove seating under swaying beaded lamps creates a modern, elegant, yet intimate atmosphere. They also have live music, and large windows that give Gaylord a lighter, airy feel from its 3rd floor location. As this venue is very popular among the Indian community, it doesn’t get much better than this outside the subcontinent.
Food-wise, Gaylord offers the traditional Indian delicacies of Naan, Seekh Kebabs, their signature Tandoor specialties, Pulao and Biryani rice dishes, Chicken Madras, as well as vegetarian and Bangladeshi options. Appetizers such as chowpatty chaat, vegetable pakora, and their chicken & vegetables samosas are quite good as well. Finish it off with dessert and a mango lassi.
It is located between Nathan Road and Kowloon Park Drive. After dinner, walk if off at Kowloon Park , or a harbour side stroll along Avenue of the Stars .
Expect to spend HKD 100 for the Lunch buffet, while the a la carte dinner is around HK$ 150-250.
