Directions to Tonkatsu Ginza Bairin
This informal little Japanese place is conveniently located right next to the MTR in Causeway Bay and is authentic, fairly cheap, and delicious. Itadakimasu!
It feels like a mix between a café and a restaurant, with a touch of bistro thrown in. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with that distinctive Japanese Zen feeling. Stark decoration, lots of wood. Clientele vary from business hotshots to lucky tourists who happen to stumble upon it, but the very important group is Japanese. Japanese people pick this Japanese restaurant, which is great news for the rest of us!
Signature dishes include their sashimi and sushi, as well as their miso soup, and edamame.
Expect to spend HK$100 – 200 per person, depending largely on alcohol.
