Established in 1950, Tai Wing Wah offers traditional Hong Kong cuisine. The interior is carpeted, very simple and tidy, and seats 360 people. It is a very popular restaurant because many of the dishes they serve are age-old, almost long gone recipes.
They serve dim sum and Chinese Hakka cuisine. The specialties of the house are the Chicken with Five Tastes, Steamed Egg Cake, Rice with Soy Sauce and Pork Lard, and the Steamed Shredded Taro with Pork. Expect to pay HK$80-HK$200 per person.
You can visit the Ping Shan Heritage Trail before or after your meal.
