Directions to Volar
Volar, located in Lan Kwai Fong, is a huge 5,000 square foot establishment that is divided into two distinct areas, the club, and the lounge. It is members only but occasionally opened to the public (where you still have to be sexy and or wealthy to get past the bouncers). While both tie into the overall black, white and silver décor and chic vibe, they each feature their own ambience and music (including volume; the lounge is a place to have a conversation over a drink without going deaf because your friend has to yell in your ear.)
Volar has regular events and functions, including themed nights, which draw huge crowds (and lines!).
Aimed at a young, hip crowd (ages 18 – 24), the club features great DJ’s from around the world, who spin a wide range of pumping beats, from electro-house to hip-hop, and everything in between. The chic cocktails, state of the art combined sound, lighting, and projections system, and the LED lights that change color along with the mood, all make this one of the top clubs in Hong Kong to dance, drink, and party the night away!
