We ordered the 6 courses set menu. Flavor wise was not memorable. There’s one dish with fish and conch, which I think the texture does not compliment each other. The conch meat was too stiff. The add on dish - abalone with barley. The sauce has a bit more cream in it. Petite four egg tart pastry is too thick. The waiters could be more professional. They did not help to lay napkins on my lap in the beginning. Also when I left for bathroom, no one folded my napkins. When they introduced the dish mixing English and Cantonese, the English pronunciation can be better.
Unsurprising yet horrendously overpriced, low quality ingredients, basic flavors, tiny portions. I booked this restaurant for a special occasion and was utterly let down. The starters were tiny but tasted alright. I like the tart based idea. The mains were a huge let down though, the fish was not prepared well and of disappointing quality given the price. Tastes like 三餸飯. The petit fours were alright but the cheese platter was very basic and sorely lacking in variety and originality. Save your $$$ and book a table at Robuchon instead, especially when they offer something similar for their seasonal menu, the white asparagus, the cod, and pigeon. Deco is pretty and photogenic , thus I gave a high score for the atmosphere, but staffs are not very welcoming nor having a deep sense of the food they are serving. Would genuinely expect a bit more interaction with the team for a restaurant who has got Michelin rated.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Had an enjoyable 4-course dinner at this stunning Michelin spot in Central. The vibe was stylish and cozy — felt so relaxing and watched the chefs cooking & preparing the dishes at the open kitchen made the whole meal special. Every dish here was unbelievably fresh and full of amazing flavour. The golden eye fish, perfectly-cooked tender pigeon and delicate caviar bites were all unforgettable. Tastes were clean and balanced, with rich but light sauces that highlighted natural high-quality ingredients perfectly. It is a bit pricey but 100% worth. One of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had in Hong Kong. Perfect for dates, celebrations or anyone who loves beautiful, tasty French food. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend it to all food lovers!
Tried their 3 course menu on two different dates in March, had different food on the menu which reflected well. Plating is a highlight on top of good quality food. On both occasions the place was quite full with customers.
