Multiple issues… I’ll start with being lied to about not having tables available for 2 people and being put at the bar then having plenty of tables available. 2. Having to eat alone first because the staff are incompetent and didn’t listen to our orders so I had to eat and then wait for my mother to eat. 3. Instructing the “chef” who was cooking the meat to not dip the beef in the egg because my mother didn’t want that and she said yes ok then 3 seconds later dipping the beef in the raw egg. 4. Having multiple items on the menu not in stock. The main issue is making us eat at seperate times and having incompetent staff. After having numerous good food experiences in Hong Kong this is by far the worst unfortunately. The meat quality is brilliant and the wine is good. But the incompetence of the staff and lies spoil the experience. Don’t waste your time!
Honestly, it offers high quality waygyu for yakiniku without any doubt. The waitress did all the grilling in front of us, we just sat and watched how a piece of raw beef became yakiniku. Most of the beef were really tender and smooth. She also offered some information about the type of beef cut and how we could best enjoy the food.
