Fine Cantonese restaurant in Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hotel. Well-balanced, delicious tastes. Exceptional service.
Food wise is quite decent. We tried their special Shanghainese menu, since it was preordered, they actually print out the wrong menu for us and it got a bit confusing. The treasure duck is worth trying (it needs to be preordered ), the drunken appetizers is not bad, the rice cake is an excellent, the beef is pretty good. The tiger prawn and fish noodles are so so, but is still eatable. Service wise, is very slow service it took them over 30 mins before they serve us our appetizer then another 30 mins for the next dish, the service pace will get better when is getting close to closing time. Atmosphere comfortable seatings, table are not overly close to each other, however they don’t have their own washroom so need to head out of the restaurant to use the WC.

Located inside the InterContinental, this Cantonese restaurant has a large menu, but does convenient set menus for lunch and dinner. The quality of the food was top-notch with each item being refined and portions in the set menu being perfect for a filling meal. The set menu also had the right variety for a balanced meal. Service was excellent as there were plenty of waiters who promptly brought the next course and removed old plates soon after we were done. Perhaps just a bit confusing was the constant language switching between different waiters who served us.
