The fried rice with egg white & dried scallop is actually DOPE
Having lived in Pok Fu Lam for so long, I had no idea there was such a high-quality restaurant inside the medical school if it weren't for a friend who works there showing me around. The environment is stylish yet quiet, and best of all, it has an unobstructed panoramic sea view. Eating while gazing at the blue sky and white clouds makes the air feel fresher (there aren't many good restaurants nearby 🙈). It's usually not crowded, so the seating is very comfortable, and you can sit and relax without being rushed. I understand that this location might not be convenient for most people, but we're happy because we live nearby. After eating, we often walk home for a stroll to digest. The food and service are quite good. The afternoon tea is particularly good value; a scrambled egg omelet with toast is $35, and a French toast set is $36. They also have fried chicken thighs and fries in the mornings. Eating slowly while gazing at the sea view is truly chill. Last time I tried their dinner service with friends, it cost about $150 to $180 per person. The fried chicken was excellent, and the price was great. It's perfect for a family or friends get-together.
I recently had the pleasure of being taken by a friend to a Chinese restaurant at the University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Medicine. I'd heard beforehand that the restaurant had a stunning sea view, and it truly lived up to the hype! We arrived a little early to watch the sunset, and the view was absolutely breathtaking and romantic, with a 180-degree panoramic view. We could enjoy the sunset before leisurely enjoying our Chinese meal. Pumpkin Seafood Vegetarian Soup: The broth was sweet and flavorful, with chunks of vegetables and vegetarian wings, giving it a nice texture. It was very pleasant to drink. Crispy Golden Tofu with Peppers: The tofu was fried to a crispy exterior and tender interior, with a thin and fragrant crust. Pretty good! Applewood Crispy Roasted Duck (Half): This roasted duck was definitely the MVP of the evening. The crispy skin and incredibly tender meat inside, even the breast was juicy! It was the most tender duck breast I've ever had; you absolutely must order this when you come here! Sweet and Sour Pork with Caramelized Sugar Although the sweet and sour pork was fried, it wasn't greasy at all, and the meat was very springy. My friend finished it all off quickly! Scallop, Seafood, and Fish Soup with Mixed Vegetables We ordered a dish to balance things out, and surprisingly, it was quite generous with the ingredients, including a lot of scallops. The seafood and fish soup was very fresh and sweet, and all the vegetables were delicious!
Dim sum is good. Service attitude is superb.
It’s really impressive restaurant with nice food. Open to public.
