Sugar

Sugar is a great place to go if you want to explore a bit of Hong Kong that’s off the beaten track. Located in Quarry Bay on the red line of the MTR , it has been newly renovated, offering a glamorous garden sanctuary….on the 32nd floor!

This rooftop terrace is gorgeous, elegantly lit by candles and Zen-like lamps. With mini trees and nice cushioned seating, it is wonderful to sit back, relax, and be kissed by the night breeze (or by someone else…) If you’re feeling a bit more uppity, they have a live DJ later on in the night, as well as mouthwatering tapas to take the edge off.

Favourite drinks include cocktails like the Mojito Re-Loaded (HK$105), Eastern Summer Punch (HK$105) and Piscine (HK$95). Their signature tapas include Rarebits with goat cheese, pistachio peso and herb ciabatta (HK$95), and a French farm house cheese board (HK$180).

Sugar also has a fairly large VIP area, for exclusive events and private parties that can be rented out separately. It can hold up to 30 people, and is perfect for a wide range of occasions.
