Popped in here for dinner with the family after another busy day in Hong Kong. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Simple straight forward menu, food comes out very quickly. We had salad, steaks and some drinks. Really enjoyed our meal well worth of visit. Well priced also.
A friend invited us here while we were visiting Hong Kong. It was his first time as well, and he picked it simply because it was close to our hotel — a lucky choice in the end. The restaurant is small and run by a Filipino team. Although the décor shows its age, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. We skipped the Filipino dishes this round and tried: • Cheesy Beef Nachos • Crispy Pork Knuckle • Mushroom Truffle Cream Pasta (Thursday Special) • Oxtail on Sizzling Plate With all‑day happy hour, we ordered a few beers, and thanks to our friend’s OpenRice booking, they also offered a complimentary glass of red wine. The dish we enjoyed most was the Crispy Pork Knuckle — beautifully crisp outside and tender inside. The Thursday pasta special was another pleasant surprise and very good value. Worth keeping an eye on their daily specials. Food, service, and overall experience were all solid. A cosy little spot that feels like a hidden gem, offering value for money food.
We had an absolutely wonderful family dinner at Sticks & Fire! Tucked away perfectly near Fortress Hill and Victoria Park, this place hits the spot if you are looking for hearty, delicious comfort food in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food was the absolute highlight of our night. The roasted pork knuckle was spectacular, perfectly crispy on the outside while staying incredibly juicy and tender on the inside, served over a generous bed of golden fries. We also loved the roasted chicken, which was seasoned beautifully and paired with a refreshing, crisp garden salad. Even the sizzling hot plate with fries and crunchy nachos kept the kids thoroughly entertained and smiling throughout the meal. The vibe inside is cozy, casual, and perfect for families or groups of friends wanting to unwind. The adults enjoyed some great red wine, the kids had their favorite juice boxes, and the bright Stella Artois neon sign added a cool, modern touch to the background. Food is great. Pork knuckles with fries simply top notch! Staffs are friendly and welcoming. There is live band on Friday’s night. Here is a place where you can end your tiring day with a smile on your face.
