Central-Mid-Levels Escalator
Hong Kong has the longest outdoor covered escalator system on the earth rated by the Guinness World Records. This escalator is rated by 55,000 or so souls who travel up or down or both every day of the year. As this is very unique, Central-Mid-Levels Escalator is also described as " A Stairway to Urban Heaven".
This longest escalator system in the world covers half a mile of moving stairs, walkways, and passage-ways from the business hub of Central to the residential heights of Midlevels. Step off a few flights up from Central in SoHo or on Hollywood Road for gallery hopping, fine dining or club crawling.
