Great location. Clean room overall. Unfortunately building only has only 1 lift to reach higher levels. On 2 mornings lift was out of order. I’ve been asked to use the fire escape stairs to go down 20+ floors. My original plans have to be delayed. Luckily lift was working on days where I had luggage/need to catch a flight.
I always recommend Urbanwood Ap Lei Chau to friends and clients visiting Hong Kong. Everyone who's stayed here has been really happy with it. Great vibe, feels fresh and natural but still right in the city. Service is personal without being fussy, and I really like that they care about sustainability. They also have a location in Hung Hom if that's more convenient. I highly recommend it.
Great hotel, caring staff. They checked us in even though we arrived earlier. The bathroom door was stuck and there was no lock. There was water, coffee, and tea in the room. And the contrast was created among the surrounding buildings. If you like looking at architectural hell, a room with panoramic windows would be perfect. Advice: ask for a higher room. :)
