The best value hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. It’s hard to find since there are no signs on the street. Look for the Citibank then hotel entrance is next to it on Humprey Street (photo). If you come late there’s a metal door but it’s still open (photo). There’s usually a security guard onsite at the elevator so that’s a plus. Take elevator to 8th floor and ring left door bell to reach the front desk. Rooms are small but functional and everything is in working order. If you’re lucky you’ll get a decent view. Daily housekeeping plus filtered water and microwave in the shared area. They also hold your luggage on checkin or checkout day which really helps. Overall we loved our stay because hotel is located right next to the main MTR station and is close to everything. 3 stops to central HK and 3 to Mong Kok. Walkable to the harbor and Jordan and of course the Tsim Sha Tsui area has all the best restaurants and shopping.
Booked this room via Day Use for a long layover stay and only needed a place to freshen up and possibly rest for the family. As most reviewers mentioned, not very easy to find but it it very conveniently located. Room: We got a family room overlooking Nathan Road and the Kowloon mosque. It was tiny by many standards and no idea how they fit two beds thinking 4 grown adults could sleep comfortably. If luggage was involved, it would truly be impossible to move around. Bathroom/shower area was also very cramped but was clean and decent. We checked in around noon and after freshening up made the call to not even bother returning. Receptionist understood and seemed indifferent to our decision. For 850HKD ($150 Cdn), for about a 6 hour window is not exactly value for what you get. For us, this is not a place we would return as there are many other options at similar price points or slightly more.
One of the best stays I've had in Hong Kong. The location is unbeatable — about a 30-second walk from Exit A2 of Tsim Sha Tsui station, so no dragging luggage around after a long flight. The whole neighbourhood is packed with great eateries within walking distance too. The staff were genuinely warm and hospitable, not in a scripted way. The loveliest surprise: they upgraded me to a family room for free, so I had way more space than I'd booked for. Small gesture, big impression. The room was spotless, and they provide free drinking water, which I appreciated more than I expected. Most of all, the stay felt safe and calm — I slept well and never worried about a thing. Would absolutely stay again.
This hotel is Maxi Min. The Best among the same price at Tsim Sha Tsui area. For first time customer, hard to find this hotel. Hotel Entrance is just a small door that belong to building next to Citybank at Humphreys Ave. Just 10m right after the corner.
The location is amazing – very central and convenient. It was a little hard to find at first, but we managed. We came with no booking after having issues at another hotel, and the woman at reception was the sweetest. She gave us a better price than online, let us view the room before deciding, and was super welcoming. The room was very clean, quite small (as expected in HK), but honestly great value for the price. I doubt you can find cheaper accommodation in this location. The only downsides: the rooms aren’t well soundproofed, there’s no real view or natural light – but for a few days it didn’t matter, as we really just used the room to sleep. What we loved: • Free access to drinkable water • Daily cleaning of the room • Very helpful and competent staff • Free luggage storage after checkout Overall, a great budget stay in central Hong Kong. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and excellent value. Would definitely recommend it for short stays!
