We had a wonderful breakfast at the Grand Café in the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, and Christine made the experience truly memorable. She was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. She anticipated what we needed without ever being intrusive, and her friendly personality made us feel genuinely cared for. We’d also like to recognize the restaurant’s manager, Lawrence, whose professionalism, warmth, and leadership were evident the moment we arrived. Impeccably presented and always attentive to both guests and his team, he ensured the restaurant ran seamlessly while making everyone feel welcome. It’s clear he leads by example, and that positive culture shines through in the outstanding service provided by the entire team. Together, Christine and Lawrence delivered the kind of hospitality that defines a true five-star experience. They are exceptional ambassadors for the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, and they made every breakfast something we genuinely looked forward to. Thank you both for making our stay even more memorable—we can’t wait to return.
Great hotel and great location. Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed their service. The rooms with the view of the ocean are just amazing and I had a curved room so had such a great panoramic view of the Kowloon island. The food here is also very good, country the truffle fries and risotto in their room service. There are a lot of vegetarian options. They also have a baby stroller
So great! Amazing location, food, service, staff, room, Everything! Would recommend and we will come back! Btw, they gave me a gift just for writing a 5 star review on their paper! That is the first hotel that even did that! So nice! It is grand. More like Grand Luxury Hyatt World Palace! So great!!!!! They even changed our room to a harbor view! Nice! The first hotel with gummy bears. Come here!
The Grand Hyatt is a fabulous choice if you want to stay on Hong Kong Island. It is situated in a very convenient location and not far from the harbour, so the views from the hotel rooms can be spectacular. The facilities are fabulous (great having access to a pool for the warm Hong Kong days), the buffet breakfast provides a delicious and wholesome start to the day. Last, but certainly not least, the staff are absolutely amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay more comfortable. Highly recommend a stay at the Grand Hyatt to witness all of the above for yourself.
The harbour view from the room was beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice. We splashed out on club and enjoyed the views whilst having a calm dinner buffet that was very welcome after a long day of walking around the sights of Hong Kong. 2 x Metro and ferry terminals are a 5-10 mins easy walk. As a Londoner, this is super close and convenient but I gather that Hong Kongers can consider this far! Service was good and courteous. Attentive without being cloying. I had to ask for housekeeping assistance after being ill in the night (which was mortifying for me) but made much easier by how kind and responsive the housekeeping and concierge were. The rooms were kept immaculate by a rigorous team of cleaners. I did wish for a bit more towel hanging space as we had kids in the room and wouldn't have asked for daily towel refresh if I could hang them properly but the room was very well appointed and you can gaze on the harbour from the bathtub! The pool is exceptional with a real resort feel in the city. My only complaint is that the Waterfall bar often has cigar smokers in it which made hanging out in the secondary smoke a bit unpleasant - especially when trying to exercise and very much so for the kids. Overall, however, I came home feeling energised and refreshed because the hotel made the whole trip so comfortable.
