Description
The tour starts at 9 AM with hotel pickup from centrally located Hong Kong hotels. Your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin the day’s exploration.
Visit Stanley Street in Central, historically significant for its association with Dr. Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary activities against the Qing Dynasty in the 1930s.
Next, head to Victoria Peak, the highest point on Hong Kong Island at 594 meters. Known historically as Heung Foong Peak, it offers scenic views and a glimpse into a high-class residential area. Lunch is at your own expense, allowing you to sample local Hong Kong snacks.
After lunch, explore West Point and Lascar Row in Central and Western District. This area has preserved old-world charm with a variety of antiques, artworks, old toys, postcards, and collectable items reflecting Hong Kong's history.
In the afternoon, visit Yau Ma Tei, an area linked to the Tin Hau Temple. Historically, the surrounding land was used by fishermen to dry hemp cables, and shops selling tung oil and hemp cable operated there.
End the tour with a visit to the Lee Cheng Uk Han Tomb Museum, the only Han Dynasty tomb discovered in Hong Kong. Unearthed in 1954, the tomb and artefacts reveal Hong Kong’s inclusion in Panyu County over 2,200 years ago. The museum displays pottery and bronze wares from this archaeological site.
The tour concludes with hotel drop-off.
