Hong Kong Museum of History

Hongkong

HK$156 million was spent to make this museum engaging and educational! The museum's Folk Culture section serves as an overture to the territory's history and its local customs.

Proof to Hong Kong's deep history from the Neolithic ages until the British colonization and handover to China are archaeological artifacts displayed in Hong Kong Museum of History.

Hong Kong must have done a great work in collecting, conserving, and studying objects related to history and culture, as seen in its museum's permanent exhibition. The museum showcases 6,000 years of Hong Kong through life-size dioramas of how Hong Kong streets, villages and other structures looked like in colonial times.
