Hong Kong literally means 'fragrant harbour' — a name rooted in the city's centuries-old trade in agarwood, one of the world's most treasured aromatic woods. In this intimate 2-hour workshop in Kwai Chung, rediscover that heritage with your own hands. Agarwood is often thought of as mysterious, expensive, or reserved for collectors. This class makes it approachable. Work with agarwood powders sourced from different regions, each with its own character — sweet, woody, cooling, or deep — and blend them into an incense recipe that's uniquely yours. Under the guidance of your instructor, learn the traditional technique for shaping incense sticks, and leave with around 50 finished sticks (10 cm each) to take home.
