Visited this spot in Wan Chai with friends recently and caught their awesome oyster promotion like buy two drinks and get 60% off your oysters! Since there were four of us, we easily cleared at least 8 drinks and happily ordered two rounds of oysters which were fresh✨ What surprised us was that the mains were just as good. The pork chop and fish were delicious and we even wrapped up the meal with a garlic stir-fried pasta that was also good. Overall, a great experience. Came out to around $600+ per person. Definitely worth a visit!
This spot earns high marks for its chic, lively atmosphere, but the service disappoints—staff were inattentive throughout. 🫣 Oysters 🦪were fresh yet small and unremarkable. However, the stuffed Japanese squid 🦑risotto and uni orzotto are absolutely stunning, bursting with flavor. Worth visiting for those standout dishes alone. 😁
Dinner at The Oyster House! This is a nice cozy place to have dinner at Wanchai. They had variety of menus, from Seafood to Steak. We started the dinner with a nice fresh shrimps, where its very flavorful and umami, and somehow the shrimp itself is very fresh! We the move to our mains, the first being the spring chicken. Its very tender, and easy to cut, and the seasoning is fully absorbed by the chicken! a delicious chicken dish with its soft mashed potato! We then have the Flank Steak, cooked in medium, which is very tender, and have a good sauce along with it! very umami flavor yet with a good beefy flavor. Definitely recommended dinner place in hk island area!
I recently dined at Oyster House and had a fantastic experience! Starting with the Caesar salad, it was fresh and perfectly dressed, with just the right amount of crunch from the croutons. The lobster linguine was the highlight of my meal; the pasta was cooked to perfection and the lobster was succulent, paired with a rich, flavorful sauce. I also ordered the steak, which was tender and juicy. Every bite was delicious!
They offer stunning views and a chic, minimalist design with cozy lighting. Since moving here in 2023, it now seats nearly 100 guests. The highlight? Over 10 varieties of fresh oysters daily from France, Ireland, Japan, and more—plus seasonal specials, all air-flown for top quality. Must-tries include the Seafood Platter (Mon–Tue only $99), Iberico Ham Pizza with crispy crust, juicy Char-Grilled Canadian Pork Chop, and airy Tiramisu for a perfect finish. Great food, elegant vibe, and Instagram-worthy setting!
