The service—from host to billing to bread service—was good and elegant, delivered with soft people skills and genuine passion. However, the food does not offer good value when you consider the cooking techniques, flavor combinations, presentation, and price. On the palate, I couldn't appreciate the artful use of ingredients or sauces. The wine list is long, with many selections and ambitious upselling. From a business perspective, that makes sense, but in a tax-free market, it's less convincing. Recommendations were offered, but without understanding what the customer actually wanted—active listening was missing. I also had doubts about the pouring portions. As a result, we ordered no dessert and no second bottle. On a positive note, we enjoyed the ambiance—the carpet, jazz music, and lighting. Wishing you good business in the future.
Absolutely incredible fireworks dinner! The artistic presentation, the exquisite refined taste, the phenomenal service (especially the Maitre’d and the sommelier), the soft jazz, the classic elegance of the setting, the fireworks front row with champagne, to meeting Chef Anne-Sophie - what a talent! And what a night!! If only we could live this way forever! With a nightcap at the Bar of course!
A very comfortable lunch experience at Gaddi's. The table setting ensures privacy, and I can be very feel to chat with my friend. Staff are friendly and can provide a timely services to you when you need them. Overall it's a very nice experience but the food didnt surprise me a lot. I may only visit one time in my lifetime because it's not cheap indeed. (lunch 3 courses with wine pairing about HKD1700)
Our 3rd visit to Gaddi’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Still having authentic, tasty & unique French cuisines. Also with classic & elegant dinning environment & experiences. One of the best French restaurant in town.
