Great location, hotel’s pretty but honestly a lot of stuff in the room feels like it’s straight out of the early 2000s. Not broken or anything, everything’s well maintained, just old. Bigger issue for me: as a Platinum member, the lounge is pretty mediocre. Just breakfast and an afternoon happy hour, no proper all-day access, and the timing didn’t even work with my schedule. Then they charge you HK$10 for a shaving kit, which is a little ridiculous honestly. Most hotels at this level just throw that in for free. Feels cheap for a place at this price point. Location’s great, but the room feels dated and the lounge perks were underwhelming.

Location is the best part of this hotel, as it is directly connected to Admiralty MTR station through the pacific place mall (LG level on hotel lift), so it helps a lot if you have large suitcases or when it’s raining outside. Staying right in front of Admiralty MTR station is very convenient, as it is very easy to get around the city from here. - 1 stop to Wan Chai - 1 stop to Central - 1 stop to Tsim Sha Tsui - Walking distance to the Wan Chai Promenade - Walking distance to Hong Kong Park Room is quite standard, it has bathtub, not too big, the harbor-facing rooms give good unobstructed view to the harbor. Room interior was a bit old but not a major issue. Service and facilities are great as expected from a JW Marriott property. Club lounge shares its dining area with Flint. Infinity pool & outdoor hangout area located at the 7th floor. To get here from airport, you can use A11 bus directly (no need to change bus all the way), and the other way around using E11 bus from the pacific place mall.

The hotel is quite luxurious. It is very accessible as it is connected to the admiralty mtr station at the basement level. It also has direct access to the pacific mall downstairs. The staff are very friendly, approachable, and accommodating. They attend to our requests immediately. The room we stayed in is at the 27th floor, with a great view of the harbor / bay. The room is spacious and comfortable. The toilet also has a bath tub, complete with free amenities. The breakfast buffet is good, but with a limited yet delicious selection of food. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and we hope we could visit again soon.

Had a wonderful stay at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, a luxury hotel that feels both timeless and very thoughtfully designed. The location is extremely convenient above Pacific Place with easy access to Central, Victoria Peak, and the MTR, making it an excellent base for exploring Hong Kong. I stayed in the Bauhinia Suite on the newly introduced Infinity Guestroom Floor, which features interiors inspired by sculptor Richard X. Zawitz. The suite felt calm, spacious, and beautifully curated with soft neutral tones, art-inspired furnishings, wraparound harbour views, and thoughtful details throughout. Executive Lounge access also made the stay even more enjoyable with excellent service, breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails. The hotel facilities were excellent as well, including the outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and fitness centre. Service throughout the property felt warm, polished, and very consistent from check in to departure. Dining was another highlight, especially breakfast at JW Café and dinner at the Michelin-starred Man Ho Chinese Restaurant. Overall, the hotel delivers a very complete and refined luxury stay experience in the heart of Hong Kong.

**JW Marriott Hong Kong — great hotel, let down on Bonvoy benefits** ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Genuinely impressed with the JW Marriott Hong Kong as a property. Location is unbeatable — sitting directly above Pacific Place and Admiralty MTR, it's the perfect base for exploring both Hong Kong Island and beyond. The rooms are well-appointed, the bedding excellent, and Hong Kong Park on your doorstep is a real bonus. Staff across the property were standout — warm, attentive, and properly professional from check-in through to housekeeping and concierge. They clearly take pride in the JW name and it shows. That said, as a Bonvoy Gold member, the stay fell short on a few benefits I'd reasonably expected: - **Room upgrade** — Gold members are entitled to an enhanced room upgrade subject to availability, but we were placed in a standard room with no acknowledgement of the benefit. - **Executive lounge access** — not extended, despite Gold tier typically offering this at JW properties or some equivalent. - **Breakfast** — we had to pay for breakfast throughout the stay, with no welcome amenity or food/beverage credit offered. For a four/five-night stay at a flagship Marriott property in one of the world's great cities, the loyalty experience felt thinner than expected. Gold isn't Platinum, but the entitled benefits should still be honoured properly — particularly at a JW. The hotel itself remains a strong recommendation. The team are excellent and the location is hard to beat. Just go in with realistic expectations on Bonvoy recognition unless you're at higher tier.
