I stayed here for a short trip and was very impressed. It has a relaxing environment and modern design.+the location was convenient for everything I needed. Great experience! sincere to highly praise a staff member whose name Corliss. Her problem-solving skills are impressive.Thank you for your every little help.
The rooms are quite small but that’s expected considering Hong Kong standards. We got a double bed and our room was on the 21st floor with a great view of the streets as well as the nearby cemetery. The rooms are clean and the service was great. The staff was courteous and attentive. We checked in after 10pm but there was no hassle. The concierge also kept our luggage for free after we checked in. The towels, slippers, shower gel, shampoo, dryer were all provided. There is a small fridge and a small safe in our room. I’d say this is a great value for money package. The location is within walking distance to Lai Chi Kok MTR and is convenient to go to Central; just hop on the Red line. A minor mishap. The thermal control was adjustable on the first night. After room cleaning, it seems the thermal control was set to certain setting that didn’t follow our request. We went back to sleep late but didn’t bother the front desk as this is minor. It’s an overall pleasant experience and we would 100% come back to this hotel when we visit Hong Kong again
The hotel is modern and clean. The service was really good as well. We felt cold in winter and they provided portable heater. However, the rooms are extremely small. We couldn’t even open our suitcases. Rooms were poorly insulated. We could hear next door’s crying baby all night. Additionally, the location is not very convenient, not many shops or good eating places in this area. One really bad part is, they don’t tell you they need a $500 deposit when you arrive. Even though the hotel has been paid for. I used my world wide wallet to pay. Because it is international transaction, it’s been a month and we still haven’t received the deposit back. We have stayed in other hotels that do not require a deposit. Much better experience.
An affordable hotel. As shown in the photos, the rooms in HK aren’t very big, but the price and environment are definitely worth it. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly (especially the female receptionists). It’s about an 8-minute walk to the MTR station and around 5 minutes to the bus stop. I don’t like staying in busy areas, and the hotel’s location still makes it easy to get to places like Mong Kok by MTR. I’d still choose this hotel next time when I visit to HK.
I stayed at YX Hotel Lai Chi Kok and had a great experience. The room was very clean and comfortable (a bit small), and the location was convenient — only about a 10-minute walk to the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even better. Overall, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had, and I would definitely stay here again!
