Very lovely petite pasta & burger restaurant in my neighborhood, it's the place that I passed by everyday thinking maybe I'll try it next time but then years went by before I finally gave it a try. I'm glad I did, cos' I never thought their pasta tasted so darn good (forgive my language :P). Ordered the prawn tomato spaghetti, the prawns were crunchy and fresh, the tomato sauce refreshing with the right balance of tanginess and got a kick of pepper and chili. The only thing I'd like to add is a piece of sour dough to mop up the delicious sauce~! Love the decor, music and vibe. Staff were friendly and put their hearts into their food. One can tell when they slip you a tips or suggestion to best enjoy the dish when serving it. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes!
Got the Fish burger. Grilled halibut, not fried so the fish was quite dry whilst leaking with water bc the muscle fibers are squeezing the water out. I like that you can choose what sauce but tbh there’s no difference between the seaweed mayo I got and my friend’s garlic herb sauce. Charcoal bun nice and soft and chewy but I toasted and kinda gimmicky. I like the idea of crispy cheese but can’t taste or feel like. Fries really boring. Not crispy and not seasoned. Thank god for the green curry mayo, great flavor and made both the burger and fries yummy. Probably should get the beef burger instead or pastas… really small store, only bar chairs.
Nice people fronting the restaurant : kind to tourists and was great in recommending food choices. I had the crab rigatoni with lemon garlic sauce and fried oysters with thai green curry sauce. It felt more like a home cooked cosy meal than a high restaurant grade level meal, which was totally fine for me since I was away for home and just wanted something simple/homely. Good find for me near my hotel.
