Atmosphere was not as fancy as we expected but the food exceeded our expectations. It's among the best dim sum we ever had. The 鮮蝦千絲酥 was brilliant and completely new to us. The 鹹蛋黃油條 was very tasty and unusual but it's a bit too heavy for us. We will go there again to try other items.
It’s a bit expensive for their seafood when compared to the other Chinese restaurants around Causeway Bay nearby. Food was okay but not overwhelming. The crabmeat dumplings were small and dry, disappointed quality.
Had dim sum lunch here, and overall, it was a solid experience! The Angus beef cheung fun was a highlight—tender beef chopped into small pieces, and the pan-fried turnip cake was excellent with lots of turnip and minimal flour. The shrimp har gow was another winner with thin wrapping, fresh shrimp, and a hint of sesame oil aroma. Their signature fried rice was packed with shrimp, chicken, dried scallops, and scallions—super savory and delicious. That said, the dim sum with bun/bao dough was disappointing. The snow mountain BBQ pork bun and thousand-layer cake (千層糕) were both too dry and hard. The seasonal hairy crab xiao long bao was also a miss—lacking soup inside the dumpling. Service was decent, but don’t expect a fancy ambience. It’s got a casual, super local vibe (PVC strip curtains at the entrance, if that gives you an idea). Worth a visit for the hits, but skip the misses!
