Found a hidden gem in North Point! La Parrilla Steakhouse offers an amazing, cozy European cellar-like vibe with its red brick walls and warm lighting. We tried their Lunch Set ($218 for Starter + Main + Fries). The complimentary homemade bread was warm and crusty. For starters, the Wild Prawn Ceviche was refreshingly tangy and crisp, while the Dry Aged Hamburger had a rich, concentrated beef flavor. The highlight was the 250g Entraña Gruesa (Hanger Steak)—cooked to a perfect medium-rare, it was incredibly juicy with a deep, natural grass-fed beef flavor, completely free of MSG or tenderizers. Paired with a glass of smooth Argentina Malbec ($55). Excellent food quality and value. Highly recommend!
Their set menu is great value: starter, main and drink, with unlimited refills of garlicky fries on request. Our wild prawn ceviche opened bright and zesty. The grilled chicken sausage had a light snap and juicy center. Flat iron steak, ordered medium‑rare, arrived evenly pink and well‑seasoned—good chew, no gristle. The grilled chicken sat under a buttery chimichurri; confit garlic and a squeeze of charred lemon kept it lively. Fries came hot and crisp, and the team proactively offered a refill. We shared the house churros: crisp shell, fluffy inside, dipped in homemade dulce de leche. Service was attentive without fuss, pacing smooth. Price was fair for the quality. Would return.
We came in the early lunch hours (12-1pm) and it was quite empty—perfect for those wanting a quieter experience. The music is calming and the staff were warm and welcoming. Just as the majority have said, the food is delicious. We came for the lunch set and enjoyed everything. The starters were great, especially the seafood ceviche.The T-bone, sirloin and ribeye steaks went well with the sauces; their chimichurri pairs well, albeit mild. Overall, it’s a great place to dine if you’d like small escape from the bustle of the workplace. Special thanks to Rob, Dave, Lia and Delia for creating such a warm and welcoming space!
The interior here is much larger and more spacious than it appears from the outside, featuring a predominantly red-brick design. We ordered two set meals, each including an appetizer and main course. The first dish is Argentine empanadas, a very popular street food. These half-moon-shaped fried pastries have a thin, crispy, and fragrant crust—once you bite in, the juicy meat filling just spills out. There are two flavor options: beef or chicken. The beef one has a strong black pepper taste, with generous amounts of meat minced into small granules. Dip them in the fresh chili sauce made from bell peppers, chili peppers, and green onions—it's tangy, savory, salty, and incredibly appetizing. Next is the Argentine lemon-marinated shrimp. The broth has a mildly sour yet subtly sweet lemon aroma, filled with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, beetroot, and cucumber. The shrimp are soaked in the sauce, resulting in a refreshing, juicy, and highly flavorful bite. Finally, the Argentine Asado-style national favorite: thick beef burgers. Various cuts of beef are slow-grilled over a special grill rack, yielding tender and succulent meat. Paired with vibrant green chimichurri (a classic Argentine herb sauce) and mustard, the flavors are outstanding—perfectly complemented by the complimentary appetizer bread rolls.
I recently dined at La Parrilla Steak House (North Point). I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff—Ryan, Lei, Dave, Robby, chef Hadji, and Cherry—went above and beyond to make me feel welcome as a solo diner. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly made the evening special. The highlight of my meal was definitely the steak. I ordered it medium-rare, and it was executed perfectly—juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Even the mashed potatoes were outstanding, complementing the steak beautifully. I left feeling incredibly satisfied and grateful for the outstanding service and delicious food. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend to my family and friends. It's the perfect place for a fantastic dining experience!
