Sing Kee Seafood Restaurant
Hong Kong

This is definitely not a Michelin hype only but a truly amazing restaurant. We had steamed leopard grouper, pan fried salted chicken, sweet and sour pork ribs, pea shoots in broth and also chinese courgette and octopus soup, they were all delicious. Staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Had dinner on our first day in Hong Kong with fairly high expectations given its Michelin Bib Gourmand status, but unfortunately, the meal did not quite live up to the hype as there were more misses than hits. Ordered the claypot rice seeing rave reviews about it, but it was disappointing — lacking both wok hei and depth of flavour, which are essential for a good claypot rice. The steamed razor clam with garlic and vermicelli was decent - garlic was great but could have been more generously seasoned; it needed more salt and overall flavour to really shine. The sweet and sour pork was another letdown, as it wasn’t as crispy as expected and the proportion of fat vs lean meat also didn’t seem quite right. The one (only) dish that truly stood out was the fried salt and pepper squid — perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and pleasantly bouncy on the inside.
Steam fish is super fresh and good, one of the best. Fried rice, from the taste/aroma and texture of rice can tell that is made by a very skillful chef. The clam is also a must try. Recommend
Home-style Cantonese dinner kinda night 🍲✨ Can’t stop thinking about their steamed razor clams with glass noodles — so fresh and garlicky, every bite full of that ocean sweetness 🐚💦 The steamed red grouper was melt-in-your-mouth soft, and the salt & pepper fried squid crispy perfection 🔥 Nothing fancy, just pure comfort and real Hong Kong flavor ❤️
Sing Kee every employee greets people with smiles, very enthusiastic and attentive to greet customers. XO sauce lobster intestine pot, XO sauce very tasty, lobster portion does not shrink the portion is good enough. Really worth for the long queue.
