Went there for a birthday celebration and was so disappointed. We tried the tasting menu. It started with a cold plate of chopped vegetables on ice, which was the same thing served in Jean-Pierre next door, maybe some people would like it but I found it bland and looked like rabbits food. The main dishes were a big let-down: everything was really buttery and the seasoning covered the taste of the seafood, which is a pity as the menu boasted using fresh, local sea produces. The scallop and crab leg were particularly horrible. The red prawn pasta was okay but again really buttery. After the meal my stomach felt as if I had had three Vission cookies in a row.
The food was really delicious and the quality was excellent. The portions were a little small for the price, but everything tasted great. The red prawn pasta was my favourite dish - second to none!Special thanks to Apurv and Gabriel, who were super friendly and made the dinner even more enjoyable.I had a great night with my friends there !
Incredible from start to finish! The food, the drinks, the beautiful space and all the staff make it a really unique experience - perfect for seafood lovers in HK. All the food was incredible and the overall vibe of the place matches it through and through! One of my new fave spots in HK!
We had dinner here and ordered chef’s menu. It’s really great in value, the food is so fresh and well cooked. I think we have more than 10 dishes including dessert. Highly recommend! Waiter service was good as well.
We had the tasting menu. The cold plates were excellent. Generally I do not like sardine but their sardine toast was very good. The crudo was also excellent. Vegetables were very fresh. 1 star deducted for the hot plates. They are not bad at all. But at that price we were expecting just a bit more. Particularly on the crab legs, it’s fine, not something that would wow you. Same thing goes to the scallop. Pasta was good but again not something that’d impress you deeply. Wine pairing was excellent. But don’t get me wrong overall it’s a nice place, good vibes, very nice staff, food is great just a bit pricey.
