We stopped by Jean Pierre just for a drink, but the cocktails turned out to be SO good! Every single cocktail we ordered was amazing — well balanced, interesting, and honestly much better than we expected. We only planned to stay for a quick drink, but it’s definitely the kind of place that makes you want to keep trying another cocktail. Would absolutely come back again!
When people ask me about my favourite dish at Jean-Pierre, I honestly find it hard to choose. As a regular guest, I have come to appreciate that there is something for every occasion at Jean-Pierre; not only in the food and drinks, but in the experience as a whole. Jean-Pierre is a place where I always feel welcome and comfortable bringing friends or colleagues. I have celebrated so many different moments there: team dinners over traditional French dishes such as boeuf bourguignon, birthday celebrations with friends and an avalanche of desserts - profiteroles, mousse au chocolat, mille-feuille and more, catch-ups around a croque monsieur at the bar, a salad lyonaise on my own, cocktails and fries on the terrace, and dinners with my husband over a soupe à l’oignon, just as we like it back home in France. Every time, the care and warmth of the team stand out. They genuinely want you to have a great time and make sure you leave with exactly the experience you came for. I can only recommend going, and going back. PS: Try their specials, they never disappoint! Merci Jean-Pierre 🙌
Amazing vibes & spectacular service. You really do feel like you’re being looked after. I appreciate the complimentary cured meats, radish & scones (?) However, for the price, the food was a little disappointing - I expected more. Our mussels arrived raw but they quickly resolved that & offered us a different dish. The French onion soup & beef tartar were ok. The duck was quite dry & the chips were very salty. The fish was refreshing & tasty. The chicken was very yummy & wowwww their chocolate moose is a must try, so good
Great service, negroni is great. I told them them the first one was too strong with cinnamon, the bartender immediately change it for me. The starters are very delicious - I would always order the HK$8 egg with the beef tartar. steak is also delicious. I love the vibe and the music there. A nice place to chill with friends and celebrate birthdays. The staff gave us a free lemon chello shots before we left. Was a nice touch.
Highly recommend Jean Pierre! The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and brought a great sense of humor to the table, making us feel welcome right away. They gave excellent food recommendations, and they did not disappoint. The pâté, escargot, and steak & fries were outstanding. To top it all off, the caramel flan and chocolate dessert were out of this world. Beautiful ambience and stellar service, thank you for a great night! ~ Sally G
