best duck ever. n the sauces were all gd, the bread n home made butter were amazing. but the cavior, must admit i was a bit disappointed like way better in amber. gd service.
Overall food is acceptable. Food presentation is quite nice. The appetizer was nothing special, the cod fish was a bit salty for my taste but they explained it as umami taste (it is only pleasant savory taste if the person eats it finds it pleasant or else is just plain saltiness). Chicken was tender unfortunately the skin is not crisp enough, but the side dish was very good. The cured yellow tail and their bakery is the best from the whole dining experience. The bakery of theirs is actually on an exceptional level compared to most restaurants in similar price levels. Service wise is a mix feeling, all staff are quite professional but some staff member are friendly than the others. Atmosphere wise is comfortable seating even the restaurant is small, it doesn’t feel overly crowded. Price wise for its quality, it is in the higher end.
Exquisite in all aspects. Special mention to the entire team of talented, professional and friendly people who clearly love what they’re doing and infuse this wonderful energy, this detailed oriented desire to excel at what they do into the experience they so sincerely offer their guests. Our dinner was simply remarkable. Understated scandi sophistication, fine dining and hospitality at its best. Congrats
Great scandinavian experience in sheung wan , genuine food in a contemporary view and top service, very friendly and attentive. Chef Jim is the best. Must try is the nordic wine pairing, only restaurant in my life having nordic wines. I’ll be back asap
Very nice Nordic dinner with Swedish wine pairing 🍷.4 things that impressed us. 1. The French pigeon is tenderly soft. Likely rare and tasty. 2. The choice of Swedish white wine is nice with special taste of grape types. 3. The complementary Birthday cake is beautiful. 4. The chef Jim styled Caviar is really nice. It comes with Volka that elevated the tasting. The manager Andy, Chef Jim and the sommelier delivered exceptional services that matched with 1 star level (although they did not earn it yet) Just one suggestion is that they should have helped us to pour wine by charging corkage fee. Instead, they just left the bottle aside you and you DIY. Anyway, I think they can get 1 star soon. 😊
