Bubbles & Wines Stanley

We’ve hosted several private long lunches at Bubbles & Wines Stanley over the years, and it has become one of our favourite places to gather with friends. The restaurant comfortable accommodates up 20 pax. Evan has a wonderful way of creating a welcoming and warm, easy going dining space. The food is consistently fabulous, and the service is attentive yet unfussy and relaxed and wine prices are reasonable. Ideal for long, lingering afternoons. The latest menu was superb. I especially loved the cabbage and carrots, the pesto cod was outstanding, and nothing beats the combination of their hot cheese with fresh bread. Strongly recommend — absolutely worth making the trip out to Stanley.
Appreciation – A true gem in Hong Kong! This charming spot perfectly lives up to its name with its fresh ingredient concept and relaxed, inviting vibes. Every dish highlights quality seasonal produce, beautifully prepared and ideal for sharing with friends or a special someone. The wine selection is thoughtful and pairs wonderfully with the food, making every sip and bite a delight. What truly stands out are the friendly owners — their warm hospitality makes you feel genuinely welcome. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or a casual catch-up, the atmosphere encourages great conversation and memorable moments. Highly recommended for anyone seeking good food, excellent wine, and heartfelt service without the fuss. We’ll definitely be back soon!
A hidden gem in Stanley. Great and cosy environment. Nice food and wine. Tucked away in a small alley in Stanley. Great to enjoy a quiet afternoon with friends away from the hustle and bustle just one street away. The reason for not giving a five stars overall was because of the asparagus of halloumi. Guess it’s not in season for the asparagus as it’s a bit woody and tough to eat. Other than that, everything is nice. Will surely go back again for dinner.
Valentine’s late lunch at Bubbles & Wines in Stanley – cozy hidden European wine bar tucked behind the market, perfect chill spot. Sat outside on the sloped road with great weather: sunny, gentle breeze, sea views 🌊 – super relaxing! No special menu, no min charge/service, total ~$800 for 2 dishes + 4 Chardonnay glasses. Beef Tartare (fresh, chef-prepared), Sea Bass with potato smash (crispy skin, tender flaky fish, creamy sauce pairs perfectly with smooth mash – delicious balance). Friendly vibe, felt like home. Great for a relaxed date!
A heartwarming Christmas feast, away from the crowds. ✨ Every detail here speaks of the festive season—from the nutcracker💂decorations to the star-lit🌟street outside. It felt like visiting a dear neighbor’s home, full of cozy and heartfelt Christmas spirit.🎄 🍽️ What we enjoyed: 🐂 Veal tartare, mixed tableside—elegantly balanced and delicate. 🐦 Pheasant terrine, served with adorable gingerbread-shaped toast. 🎄 Fine ceramics adorned with tree🎄star🌟and nutcrackers💂, which are available for sale at their online shop - The Cocoon HK - starting from HK$20. Some are handmade by the owner, like the beautiful green cups for holding the tartare ingredients. The owners provided truly warming, attentive service, making the experience even more special. A peaceful, festive escape compared to the busy markets—a hidden gem💎worth savoring.
