Food was authentic, fresh and delicious! The taste is great, unlike the usual seafood restaurants in the city. Portion is good, could be adjust for smaller group of people as well. The vibe is nice with breeze. People are helpful and very friendly. There are seasonal Chinese radish cake/ rice cake available around Chinese New Year. And, local dried fish dried shrimp are available as souvenirs as well. Great place to have a meal break after hiking!
Very unique restaurant off the beaten path in Po toi O, near Sai Kong. The food is super fresh, you pick you live seafood in the aquarium, and a minute later it is on your table. The crab is to die for, the scallops amazing, the mantis shrimp are well prepared. I do like razor clams with a sour and sweet sauce. The restaurant is very authentic, worth the effort.
It's somewhat challenging to access. It's a remote fishing village in Hong Kong. The seafood was fresh and delicious, with minimal MSG. This was a significant advantage. The food portion was satisfactory. A portion of the restaurant had air conditioning. The price was competitive with that of the city restaurant. The ambiance was reminiscent and comfortable. A dining experience comparable to a return trip in time.
