My hubby brought me to Lai Ching Heen to celebrate my birthday and I had an amazing experience! I love how they had brought out the condiments for us to mix and match to our liking. The food were delicious and very well presented. Neo and Isaac always check back on us to make sure we felt comfortable and that all food were served smoothly. We got to take a polaroid photo to keep as memory which was presented in a card and they had all staff to sign on a card. We also loved the complimentary birthday desserts provided. 10/10 would come back again!
This restaurant was highly recommended to me by a friend who visited recently. I really enjoyed their innovative take on traditional dimsum dishes, including truffle cream bolo bun with a quail egg as well as their luxurious dimsum set which included dimsum treats with lobster, scallops and truffle/caviar. Their roasted meats were impressive too, we ordered their roasted pigeon, roasted pig slices as well as char siew and they were more than happy to accommodate the serving sizes to our smaller group size. The roasted pigeon was crisp and the accompanying salt pepper mix complemented it well. The char siew was especially tender and was not too oily/fatty. They have rather unique desserts, I had the double boiled pear and my friend had the mango dessert. We visited for her birthday/holiday and they were extremely attentive, offering a Polaroid picture and tea leaves as souvenir. Special shoutout to Kousy and Yu!!
One of the best Chinese dining experiences I’ve had Lai Ching Heen truly lives up to the hype. Every dish was executed beautifully, but the tofu absolutely stole the show silky, delicate, and packed with flavor in the most refined way. And the roast suckling pig? Perfectly crispy skin with juicy, tender meat…just flawless. If you’re looking for an elevated, elegant Cantonese experience in Hong Kong, this place is a must.
Amazing service and atmosphere! From the moment you stepped inside the restaurant, you feel the hospitality at every single moment. Beautiful view of the Victoria harbour. Food is decent (not much to wow about). I really like the soup and the wagyu with seafood fried rice in the set dinner menu. The dessert with lychee sorbet and mango pudding is perfect also. They give you a cute birthday cake and instant photo which is a nice surprise for birthday celebration. Big thanks to Henry who made me feel so welcomed and warm. Thanks the team for the great evening!
My family and I had a wonderful and relaxing lunch at Lai Ching Heen (LCH) last weekend to celebrate a birthday. As a repeat customer, the dining service at the Regent Hotel has always given me great confidence in the quality of experience. Having never tried their Chinese cuisine before, I decided to make a booking this time and it certainly did not disappoint me at all. The lunch ambiance was peaceful and inviting, complemented by a beautiful view of Victoria Harbour. The food was delicious, as expected, and the pre-ordered Peking Duck was a particular highlight, we will definitely be back for it. I would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Oscar and his teammates, who looked after our table with great attention to detail. Oscar introduced each dish with impressive knowledge and was incredibly patient, gently reminding us about the condiments each time we forgot. To make the occasion even more special, the LCH team prepared a small cake for us and kindly offered an instant photo to capture the moment. I highly recommend this venue, especially for those celebrating a special occasion. Many thanks again to the entire team for making our celebration so memorable.
