Awesome little wine bar with an excellent happy hour deal, great wine selections, and really solid specials as well👌🏻(the Riesling from Alsace 🧑🍳 😘) By the evening the whole place sort of spills out onto the street with that busy Friday-night energy and bustling atmosphere that makes you want to stay for one more glass 🍷 🥳 Really good vibes. Loved this place.
I came here one evening. Autumn. With someone I care about very much. We ordered a bottle of Monmarthe Champagne, Extra Brut. The kind of dry that make you feel honest. We sat in the dark, because this place is dark, that is the whole point. They sell you wine and some cheese thing, and you sit there and talk like the world outside is not real. The cheese was okay. The wine was good. But I am not here to review cheese. That person, I don’t even know how to call. Not just friend. More than friend. But life is like two train track, sometimes they run next to each other very close, and then one day, no more crossing point. You just carry the memory and walk your own way. I still think about that night sometimes. The champagne was dry but the feeling was not. I hope you are doing well. I don’t know how to reach you anymore, and maybe that is also okay. People come, people go. They say this is part of growing up. I believe them, but I don’t like it. Five star, not for the cheese.
I just love being able to have a small walk and stop to have a pre-dinner wine. Like it’s been mentioned in other reviews, service could be friendlier but I was in such a good mood when I was there that it didn’t bother me at all. Just considered it as an authentic experience. 🤣
