The first branch of Geumseong (金星) opened in Sheung Wan and quickly became a popular spot in the area. And finally, their second branch just opened on Queen's Road Central at the end of July! The restaurant is spacious, easily accommodating over 100 people. Plus, the ambiance is fantastic and very cozy. If you're looking to eat Samgyetang in Hong Kong, this is definitely the place to go! They have quite a few varieties to choose from. This time, I went with the spicy version of the Ginseng Chicken Soup. The rich broth, the hearty portion of chicken, and the sticky rice—it's incredibly filling and packed with ingredients. Highly recommended!
This spot has officially become my go-to for Korean spot. The location is incredibly convenient, SOUPS and cold noodles are the real standout. The pancake is not tasty.
Perfect!!! Wow, such amazing food, the flavours are perfectly balanced. Will definitely come again. We didn’t notice this spot at first because when you type ‘Korean food’ (in English) into google maps, it does not appear. We walked past and decided to try it out - so glad we did!!!
Food was not bad, service acceptable, nth extraordinary but there were lots of little flies, like fruit flies hovering around our food was very very disturbing. Then we saw a cockroach on the floor, notified the staff who swiftly killed it without disturbing most customers, but I think overall, hygiene in the resto needs to be improved!
Great restaurant! I like their Chicken Soup a lot. Other food is standard good quality Korean food. In March 2026 they are doing a soju promotion as well. Beef “hotpot” was around 750 hkd per pot. Had a good time with my friends there
