Hi there! I am Ashley J (“memorytxture”), a multimedia artist based in Hong Kong. I am looking forward to doing professional portrait photoshoots with you! (minimum 12 edited photos in 5 days). ***Since March 2024, I have welcomed over 150 clients from more than 30 countries and received a 5 out of 5 rating from all clients.*** ***Special Announcement: I have a busy August but will try my best to squeeze you in! Please feel free to contact me.*** Nighttime Hong Kong has such unique vibes that I am still deeply attracted to it after 11 years living here. I know this city very well including all the good spots to shoot (allies, footbridges, neon signs, rooftops, parks, all kinds of buildings, etc.). I am super easy to talk with and will really want to discuss with you & know your preference before the photoshoot to suit your needs. I love to customize every photoshoot and every tour because every one of you is unique. If you don't have any preference, it's perfectly fine as well! Just leave it to me. More about me: I am a writer, translator, photographer, art enthusiast, hardcore lover of Hong Kong, and researcher in Hong Kong Cultural Heritage (i.e. from street food to cuisines, from religions to traditional festivals, etc.) and East Asian culture. I have been living in Hong Kong for 11 years and my local friends always say that I know HK better than them, as I put a lot of effort into learning the local language Cantonese & all the local knowledge here. I have been making friends all over the world through doing tours and photography. I can't wait to meet up with you and share the stories of this great city! ***Important Notes*** 1. For photo delivery, I will send you the download link of the photos usually within 5 days. 2. Don't hesitate to contact me even if your time is tight, the time can be very flexible, from half an hour to a couple of days! 3. I do both digital and film photography. There is an add-on choice of film photography (HKD$250 per roll, one roll includes 32 photos normally). Film photography has a unique color and texture and it is a unique experience I can offer. >> Also, film negatives are always such a unique souvenir that you can hold and take back with you. Or if you are in Hong Kong for a few days, you can pick up the film negatives by yourself!
